CYO Athletic Ministry Board

After many months of development, the CYO Athletic Ministry Board has approved Bylaws; it is close to accepting an updated Handbook.  An important part of the Bylaws is the identification of the roles and responsibilities of the members of the Athletic Ministry Board.  Presently, the only positions on the Board with clearly identifiable roles are Pastor, Athletic Director and Treasuer. The other positions are:

Secretary/Communications

Winter Sports Coordinator

Spring Sports Coordinator

Fall Sports Coordinator

Spiritual/Service Coordinator 

Facilities, Fields & Scheduling Coordinator

At this time, the Athletic Board would like to open nominations for all of these positions, including Athletic Director and Treasurer.  The positions have a two year term, once renewable.

Anyone interested is asked to provide a written application, including pertinent background, qualifications and goals for the position, to the current Athletic Director, Jim Pachioli, at coachpach@aol.com with a copy to halb@sksparish.org.

All nominations must provided by May 31, 2013.  The current Athletic Board will elect the new Athletic Board in June.
